Branford Girls Hockey

The Branford Girls Hockey team is back and better than ever. This team was started by the students and has really taken off. The team photo and individual photos were taken to help them raise funds to keep the team going. This was such a fun shoot. Next time I need to bring some spikey shoes cause shooting on ice was interesting!

These are just a few of the team members.

Naomi’s Salon

Just about every wedding photographer in CT knows Naomi’s Salon. If they don’t, they should. Naomi Martinez and her crew are just amazing everytime I work with them. This time it wasn’t a bride in front of the camera, it was the artists behind the makeup and hairspray. I’ll start with Naomi herself, followed by her husband, and the rest of her crew.

Portraits and Commercial Website!

After many many months of trying to get the final section of my website finished, it’s officially launched! Now before I show too much here on the blog, I’m throwing out a big special…

25% OFF ALL PORTRAIT AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST!

All you have to do is call to book your session for any available date in the month of August. This includes all my portrait and commercial services! Here’s what you can expect to find on the website!

Plenty of portraits to go around, starting with Courtenay’s individual portraits.

Colby and Leah’s High School portraits.

One of my favorite families to photograph! Family portraits can be as casual or as formal as you like.

Babies! I’ve been photographing a lot of babies lately.

Head shots for websites and publications.

One side of the business that has been picking up is real estate photography. I’ve been photographing with a few builders lately.

I’ve photographed brand new homes going on the market and completely staged homes being photographed for print ads.

This was taken for Aura Day Spa. Not only did I do all the photographs for the site, but I built the site as well.

I’ve done events for charities, no matter how big or small.

Construction photography has been in my business for quite a while. I’ve photographed the construction and demolition of buildings for major construction companies. Each shoot was done on a monthly basis over the course 3-14 months.

There is plenty more on the website! Go check it out!! Photographer RE

Moe`uhane

Moe`uhane is Hawaiian for “dream.” This custom home was built by a builder, for his own family, as his dream home. He wanted photos not only for himself, but for his company website too. The home and the land it’s on is just beautiful. I’m posting a few generic photos from the shoot as I don’t want to expose too much of their personal space on the blog, but let’s just say the walk in closets are amazing.

The password was on the stone you were given at your table.

Aura Website

My last post had some of the photos, now here’s the website I made for the Aura Day Spa.

I did an initial conversion of the images for the website, but I’m not sure how happy I am with the way they came out. So I’m going to do a different conversion for web images and hopefully they will look a little nicer (not that they don’t already). I’m just picky. The owner of the spa was really thrilled with the way everything came out. I’m going back to the spa to take some more photos of product and the rest of the rooms.

Aura Day Spa

As the wedding season comes to an end, my commercial season is just beginning. I don’t think I’ve ever put my commercial work on the blog. I’ve done head shots for many companies. I even have some to do today! I’ve been photographing for a builder of condos and homes as well. I’m always amazed at what comes my way.

I just photographed a really nice day spa in East Haven. Aura Day Spa opened a little while ago, and the therapists there came from other day spas in the area. This ended up being more than just photos for me. I just finished building their website too. I’ll let you know when it goes live! It contains the following images, and more. The owner was so thrilled with the way everything came out, I’m going to go back and shoot some more images.

This was tricky. It’s 6 vertical shots combined into one. I took a similar shot with a fish eye, but it got too curvy. The wide angle wasn’t enough. So a stitching I went.

I noticed once I posted it here that one is missing… and the random screw in the wall. Retake?

Nice photos from spa
spa table

Really cool Rich. Isn’t it nice to take a little break from weddings and do something different? Great job with the stitching!

works for me! I’m sold! I love the faucet shot and the shot of the massage hands. Totally makes me want to go there now. You completely captured the warmth and relaxation…even the fuzzy towels!
