Carolina and Michael!

From their engagement session in Massachusetts, to photographing their engagement party in Atlanta, and now their wedding in New York, what else is there to do??? I can’t help but to show a lot of photos!

Just an amazing dress by Modern Trousseau.

The green bridesmaids dresses by J Crew.

I loved this boquet by The Flower Bar.

My second shooter Greg made it up the tight squeeze of a stair case to get to the balcony.

The Larchmont Yacht Club.

A little late night walk to cool down.

This has been wedding #189! Getting close to 200!

Megan and Jason!

We’ve had Megan and Jason’s engagement session planned for a quite a while. What you can’t plan on is the weather. The radar showed the rain off to east, so I got in my car for the drive to Narragansett and there was no turnin’ back. I got there and met up with Megan and Jason while there was misty fog all around. We waited a few minutes to start because it looked like it might clear up a little. Once we got going, we had a few breaks as the mist turned into a little rain. I had trouble keeping my lenses dry. But by the end of the day there were no more weather issues! Fog horns blowing and all!

First stop, Narragansett Beach.

Of course there were plenty of surfers around!

Then we went down to Newton rock by Hazard ave. So just head right over there! Yeah! Go for it!
My clients must think I’m crazy at times… but they did it!

There were some big wave crashing on the rocks.

I climbed out onto this big rock that was extened out past the shore line, falling only once,
because I wanted the shot to look like it was from out in the water, nevermind from a helicopter.
I couldn’t keep the front of my lens dry. But it was all worth it.

Our final stop was Point Judith. We weren’t sure at first if we could go through the fences of
the Coast Guard station to the lighthouse area because of all the security signs,
but someone came out and said we could go in!

No, not 1 ring. There’s two! Lucky girl?

Doris and Tom!

We’ve been so overloaded here lately that I almost forgot about the blog! Let’s start catching up!

Doris and Tom’s wedding brought me to White Plains, NY and the Tappan Hill Mansion. Check out their reception room! I will post more detail shots soon.

Oh the anticipation!

I don’t always show a standard pose on my blog, but I think this sums it all up. They just couldn’t take their eyes off eachother.

The corner lounge and bar.

Doris and Tom had a dance duo come in and perform a scene from Phantom of the Opera
and a version of the Cirque Du Soleil Beatles show Love.

This has been wedding #188!

Stephanie and Leo!

Leo is your Greek Diner Owner who prefers simple and tasteful rather than overdone. Stephanie is your fashionista world traveler who works in the beauty industry so the more the sparkle the better!! They have been together for 8 years so EVERYONE has been waiting for their wedding for a very long time. According to Stephanie, Leo is VERY Greek and she VERY Portuguese which brings two powerful cultures together to celebrate amazing traditions that are important to them and their guests. Their ideal wedding is simple elegance, memorable details, romance and FUN!!! You can tell from their session it’s definately going to be fun! They really love the beach scene because it is a place they greatly relate to, so I took them down to the Branford waterfront and then over to Stony Creek.

Stephanie want’s photographs that capture all the emotions, details, and FUN their day will bring. She said “the only challenge will be that Leo is not a picture person and I’m all about the camera.” We discovered during this shoot that Leo isn’t so camera shy!

Christine and Jay!

You may remember the Hybrid (aka Fusion) video preview of Christine and Jay (aka Gerald) from a couple weeks ago. We have finished all the photos! You couldn’t have asked for a nicer day for a wedding.

Christine’s grandmother was sooooooo happy for her.

A plane or something left a half circle in the sky above them.

So there was an extra photographer at the wedding that wasn’t with me and my second shooter. It was Christine’s dad!

This has been wedding #187! (yes I keep track)

Awesome shots, Richard! My favorite it the one with Christine in the limo and her dad’s reflection is in the glass….greatest wedding shot I’ve seen! I just have one question; where are the other 9,999 pictures you took of their wedding???

I am totally loving that church and you did a fantastic job capturing it. Awesome wedding RE!
